Our funding focus area honors blood, platelet, organ, and financial donors from the communities who partnered with the original Spokane Community Blood Bank in 1945 and transitioned to the Inland Northwest Blood Center, now known as Vitalant; a 150-mile radius around Spokane, Washington, including north Idaho, the Columbia Basin and Lewis-Clark Valley.
